About Us
Our Story
Summit Homeschool Group was founded by Christine and Sarah — Christian women, wives, and mothers who share a heart for faith, family, and quality home education. Both attend Parkway Church on the Mountain, where Christine also serves on staff. Together, we desired to create a space where homeschool families feel supported, heard, and valued in a collaborative group setting.
Summit Homeschool Group is dedicated to providing excellent Christian educational opportunities for homeschooling families in a safe, welcoming, and spiritually encouraging environment. Our goal is to offer classes taught from a Biblical worldview that enhance and support the education parents are already providing at home.
We meet on Tuesday mornings from 9am - 11am and Thursdays from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm in the youth room spaces at Parkway Church on the Mountain, serving families throughout the Roanoke Valley area. Our programming emphasizes classes for students in kindergarten through high school, shaped by the interests of both families seeking classes and instructors willing to teach.
At Summit, we believe strong education happens when faith, family, and community come together. Our hope is to create meaningful learning experiences while building lasting relationships rooted in Christ.
